The Crying Child; Childhood Trauma

A Mental Health Film

Part of IAM’s work in Mental Health is raising awareness about mental health issues. This spring, our mental health advocacy team produced two new documentaries so that people can learn more about mental health. One of these documentaries, “Afghanistan; The Crying Child; Childhood Trauma,” dealt with the topic of childhood trauma. The film examined the trauma suffered by children and adolescents due to daily domestic violence in their lives. Check it out below! You will find the English version first, followed by the Dari version.

If you enjoyed this short documentary, be sure to check back soon for the next documentary. If you want to learn more about our work in mental health, click here.
