Accepting the Child with Epilepsy

A Mental Health Film on Epilepsy in Afghanistan

IAM’s Mental Health Programme has been working on raising awareness about mental health issues in a variety of different ways. One of the ways our team does so is through documentaries. This spring, our mental health advocacy team produced two new documentaries so that people can learn more about mental health. One of the videos they produced was on epilepsy in Afghanistan, entitled “Afghanistan; Accepting the Child with Epilepsy.” This short documentary explores the stigma of epilepsy in Afghanistan and explains more about epilepsy itself. Check it out below! You will find the English version first, followed by the Dari version.
