NOOR Stands Out in Cost Recovery

NOOR has been known for its reliability and quality service for a number of years but has recently stood out in a new area. The Journal of Community Eye Health featured an article that highlighted how NOOR has demonstrated cost recovery within development work. In fact, NOOR stands as a model for recovering costs, illustrating that it is an achievable and workable goal. It has been important for the NOOR projects in Afghanistan to focus on cost recovery by charging patients reasonable fees. These fees will consequently lead to full sustainability in the future.
