Mental Health Course and Subsequent Treatment Proves Effective

Ensuring that patients with mental health issues receive appropriate, quality treatment is incredibly important. One of the doctors who had participated in a mental health course reported later:

“A patient was brought to my clinic who was behaving very aggressively. Firstly, I took a history of his mental health symptoms and came to the conclusion that he was suffering from a psychosis. I then referred the patient to the PMHP Mental Health Clinic-Resource Centre for confirmation of the diagnosis. They confirmed my diagnosis and the patient received treatment. Now the patient is well, leading a normal life.”
