Shared Tasklists
Maybe you need a way to share tasklists with your team. Maybe you need to share a shopping list with your spouse. Microsoft to-do is built into Windows and it is even available for the Mac, iPhone, Android and the web. It may not be the most advanced task management solution, but if you already have Windows it has an advantage because it is free and does most things a task management app should do. For more advanced functionality it can be integrated with Microsoft Planner or with Outlook. It can be used to share tasks within groups of people (to assign a task to someone else within a shared list do this), and you can also use sub-tasks (which are called “steps”).
Presentation Sharing
Maybe you have a powerpoint presentation that you would like to present remotely while you have a skype conversation. If you have Office 2013 or later you can do this by going to the file menu and choosing Share, Present Online. You also have the option to allow the viewers to download the presentation (which could be useful if you get disconnected from the internet in the middle of the presentation and have to continue the conversation by phone).
Screen sharing
You might not know that if you have skype you can already do screen sharing. You have to start video skype then press the + symbol at the bottom of the skype window, then choose screen sharing. Use the following link to see full details:

Alternatively if you use Vsee you also can already do screen sharing.
GotoMeeting allows 3 people to use screen sharing in the free version (https://free.gotomeeting.com/)
Audio Conferencing/Teleconferencing
Zoom is probably the most well known cross-platform tool for this.
Video Conferencing
Zoom can do this but is limited to 40 minutes per meeting in the free version.
If you have a google account (eg. gmail) then you can use meet.google.com for untimed free meetings with unlimited people.
