How to check your account balance
To use the Internet on your mobile phone, you must activate the Internet service for your SIM card, as well as the APN settings on your phone.
Set or check the APN settings on your phone
Some companies will automatically send the configuration for data services to your phone when you connect to their network. However, if they didn’t, you can check or set the APN Settings in your phone by following these steps.
Step-1:
Tap on Settings > Mobile networks
Step-2 :
Tap on Access Point Names
Step-3 :
You can check the settings here for your network – if you see a APN with your Network Name like: MTN internet, Etisalat Stearming, Roshan, is already listed in this filed, please select it via press the radio button next of that and exit from settings and skip to step 6.
But if there is nothing appropriate there already, you can Tap on ADD to create a new APN
Step-4:
Enter your APN settings ( You can find the APN Settings for all Afghanistan telephone networks in the APN Setting list below )
Step-5:
Press the three dots on the top right of the screen, tap on Save in order to save the APN settings.
NOTE: The created APN will show up in the APNs screen after you have saved it. To activate the APN, tap on the radio button located beside it.
Step-6:
Restart the phone and try browsing the Internet.

* Special note for AWCC: Note : Pull Method-To request the settings, a customer has to send SMS with keyword <1> to the short code <2009>. In return customer will receive the Data settings with a PIN via SMS, which he needs to be saved.

Etisalat
Before start to using internet in your phone you need to activate internet services for your sim card
To activate Internet on your mobile, go to the message menu of your mobile type 3G & send it to 3378
You will soon receive a confirmation message from the network that successfully enabled the Internet service in your Sim Card.

SALAAM
To change the language of incoming messages(SMS) to English Type CL 3 and send SMS TO 740. Note: there is a space between CL and 3.
To get internet access from you mobile phone Type DATA and send SMS to 740

Didn’t need to activate internet service for MTN, it’s activated by default on all sim cards.

To activate 3G, Text 3G to 555 and after you received confirmation SMS, restart your phone.

How to check your account balance
Each network uses a different method to check your account balance. It is helpful to know how to do it for your network because when you activate a data package it is deducted from your account balance. If you don’t have enough balance the activation won’t work.
