As of November 2013, spam (irrelevant, inappropriate email) should be delivered to a spam folder instead of your Inbox.
If you are using an email client installed on your computer this should automatically move these to a spam folder or a junk mail folder in the email client.
If you are using IAM web mail to read your email follow the instructions below.
Using HORDE:
To check the contents of the spam folder using Horde, click on the Spam folder link on the left.
Using ROUNDCUBE:
1. To check the contents of the spam folder click the settings button and select “Manager Folders”
2. Tick the tickbox for the spam folder and wait a few seconds until you see “Folder successfully subscribed. Then click Mail at the top of the screen.
3. Then click the spam folder in the list of folders on the left.
Using SQUIRREL MAIL:
To check the contents of the spam folder using SquirrelMail click on the black “spam” folder link on the left.
